About Us
Chef Kevin Garibaldi began his career on the Central Coast of California in Monterey's finest restaurants. He studied Continental and American Cuisine under three Master Chefs in the world famous Sardine Factory on Cannery Row, and the Rogue Restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf in the early 80's.
Over the years Garibaldi's experience and knowledge of a variety of cuisines came from working in Monterey and Carmel's finest restaurants including Quail Lodge Country Club, the Pebble Beach Lodge, Clint Eastwood's Hog's Breath Inn and The Mission Ranch, and Paulina's Italian Restaurant.
In the early 90's Garibaldi attended Chico State University pursuing a pre-law degree and a teaching credential. He met his wife Rachel, started a family, and in 2001 began teaching as a Social Science High School teacher at Las Plumas High School. During his teaching career he continued to cater for private and community events in Butte County on a word to mouth basis.
Garibaldi's Catering officially became a business in 2006 after Garibaldi realized that the North State had a need for caterers who offer "fine cuisine at a reasonable price" and who would "cater to your taste". After receiving many recommendations from satisfied clients Garibaldi concluded his teaching career and began catering full time in 2009.
We offer full service catering (buffet style and sit down dining) and will customize a menu for any type of event. Chef Garibaldi has the ability and expertise to cook any type of cuisine for your occasion.
